Supervision

Harnessing the Transformative Power of EMDR

Flying eagles at Cotswolds Falconry Centre was an inspired 60th birthday gift, and having this beautiful creature swoop down to land on one’s arm from several hundred feet up was a heart-stoppingly thrilling experience.

Supervision can be seen perhaps as a nourishing base point from which to fly in your own way, catching your own thermals and using your own wingpower to its best advantage.

Jutta and Mark both work closely with Laurel Parnell in the US, author and originator of Attachment-Focused EMDR.

Jutta is training as a Facilitator with Dr Parnell while Mark – also a training Facilitator with the Parnell Institute – has a diploma in transpersonal psychotherapy supervision (2009) at from Braynework’s alma mater college in London, the CCPE, where both he and Jutta also secured their core Masters degrees in Transpersonal psychotherapy in 2000 and 2005 respectively.

As accredited Consultant with EMDR Europe, Mark supports fellow EMDR therapists on their journey towards formal accreditation, as Practitioners or themselves as Consultants.

Working under the umbrella of Braynework’s sister training company EMDR Focus Ltd, Mark sees supervisees face-to-face in London or in the Shepherd’s Hut in Sheringham, North Norfolk, or – increasingly – offers supervision on Skype or Zoom.
